The struggle

A while ago, my entire body was suddenly overcome by uncomfortable sensations: achiness, tension, contraction, tingling, burning, itchiness, and a sense of coldness.  In physical pain and suffering, I embarked on a mission to identify and eliminate the root cause of the symptoms, thinking I would only be happy again if I could find the cause and the corresponding cure. I visited numerous healthcare professionals and endured a series of tests and treatments without any improvements in my health.

Embracing the Uncomfortable

One day, I woke up and said, “Enough suffering". It was time to break free from the thought of pain and open the door to new adventures that bring more joy, peace, and connectedness with the world. Acknowledging pain as a companion but not the primary driver of my life, I shifted gears and embarked on a nourishing journey—embracing practices such as pain reprocessing, positive neuroplasticity, positive psychology, mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and laughter yoga. 

Soon enough, pain was no longer the center of my universe.

I learned to accept my circumstances and let go of the need to change what I couldn’t—surrendering to the mystery of life and seizing control of my emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.

I ceased being a victim of my circumstances and took responsibility for what I could change, including my perspective.

By befriending my body and listening to its wisdom, I became more aware of myself and others while fostering self-compassion and extending it to those around me. I challenged old beliefs, set new goals, and revitalized my physical health.

 

Now, I'm stronger and more energetic than ever before. My days are filled with more smiles, optimism, laughter, gratitude, and deeper connections with loved ones. Although I still experience pain at times, it no longer controls my life.

Inspired by my journey, I pursued a master's in Health and Wellness Coaching at the Maryland University of Integrative Health. I now specialize in well-being coaching, blending positive psychology, mindfulness, and body-centered approaches to help people change, transform, and evolve.

Empowering Change and Transformation

I find fulfillment in collaborating with individuals ready to embark on journeys of behavioral change and transformation. Regardless of where my clients are in their paths, my role is to facilitate self-discovery, self-awareness and self-realization within a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Throughout this process, I help them recognize their strengths, values, and qualities, empowering them to leverage these assets to move forward in life.
